The three-day AUN-QA audit process is aimed at helping to improve the quality of the two academic programmes at Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM).
Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic and International), Prof. Dr. Hassan Ali said that the comments and suggestions made by the AUN-QA audit team will be taken into account to help improve the academic programme in UUM.
"If we succeed in obtaining the AUN-QA certification, it will indirectly provide UUM with more opportunities and space to promote UUM at the international level, thus enhancing the performance of UUM in the world rankings.
"I am grateful to all auditors involved in the evaluation process and hope all members of the audit team have been satisfied with the services rendered throughout the course of the auditing process," he said.
The audit which took place for three days at SSD and SEFB involved four auditors and two AUN-QA secretariats.
Presentation of the audit results began with the group of auditors who evaluated the Bachelor of Social Work Management with honours programme, Dr. Titi Savitri Prihatiningsih and Dr. Alvin B. Chula followed by auditors for the Bachelor of Science in Economics with Honours, Prof. Dr. Hanna H. Bachtiar-Iskandar and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kunyada Anuwong.
