For the year 2015/2016, UUM rises 28 places to 336 compared to 364 in 2014. UUM advanced to the top 7th. university in the country compared to the 8th. position previously.
The QS World University Rankings employs a number of indicators including the academic reputation, employer reputation, faculty-student ratio, citations per faculty, international faculty and international students.
QS World University Rankings is an annual listing of the top universities in the world. For this year, 3,539 institutions were considered for inclusion and only 891 institutions were included in the QS World University Rankings.
UUM Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Dato' Seri Dr. Mohamed Mustafa Ishak expressed his deepest appreciation and gratitude to the staff members of UUM for their efforts in carrying out their commitments to ensure the triumphant rise of UUM in the world rankings.
