The exceptionally engaging and eye-opening workshop saw the participation of 70 UUM staff, career women, housewives and students. It was conducted by a renowned facilitator, Associate Prof. Datin Dr. Sabitha Binti Marican. The workshop was officiated by the President of Sutranita, Datin Seri Norhayati Nazri.
In her speech, Datin Seri Norhayati said, this is the first time Sutranita organised this kind of workshop after successfully weathering numerous challenges and constraints.
"This workshop provides the opportunity for participants to identify different personality types and interests. Women, in general, are more concerned with their appearance, health and beauty.
This workshop is not just targeted specifically for career women, but it also includes housewives who also care about their physical appearance, personal mannerism, communication skills and grooming," she said.
The workshop covers various topics including the importance of maintaining a healthy and balanced diet, techniques to manage stress in everyday life, proper social etiquette and manners, grooming and accessories for career women and the importance of caring for oneself.
The workshop was divided into two sessions. The first session focused on understanding women personality, recognizing women’s potential and stress management strategy. The second session saw Dr. Sabitha sharing more on the social etiquette, dining etiquette, grooming, diet and health.
Meanwhile, a participant, Madam Nurul Nazifah Mat Noh said, the workshop does not only enlighten the participants on ways to care and improve their physical appearance, but participants also gained better understanding on proper mannerism, social etiquette and conduct in public.
