UUM Foundation Studies in Management first began recruiting Malaysian Certificate of Education school leavers who obtained excellent results as its pioneer batch of students for the 2014/2015 academic session with the hope of enrolling excellent students into critical programmes offered by UUM. This would in turn enable UUM to produce generations upon generations who would lead in the various fields of management in the future.
These students would pursue the foundation studies in Management for a year before they qualify for the various degree programmes offered by UUM.
