UUM ONLINE: 10 June - The University's administrative staff who received their letters of promotion today were advised to demonstrate excellent performance by improving work productivity.
The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Dato' Seri Dr. Mohamed Mustafa Ishak said that to improve performance, the members of staff had to change their existing ways of working in accordance with the promotion which they had received, in fact it will even highlight positive values.
"To be successful, we need to think and be positive for the future. Work harder, further enhance our credibility and self-esteem.
"Administrative officers too have to prove that they are all entitled to the promotion and be grateful to the University for being promoted”, he said that at the ceremony where administrative staff were presented with Letters of Promotion held at the Sri Delima.
At the event, a total of 13 administrative staff were promoted; three Administrative Officers promoted to the N52 grade; five Administrative Officers promoted to the N48 grade and five Administrative Officers promoted to the N44 grade.
The ceremony also witnessed the promotion of two academic staff to the post of Assoc. Prof. (DS54) and Senior Lecturer (DS52).
