UUM ONLINE: 4 September - In a bid to ensure that the registration process of new students in conjunction with the Orientation Week for Semester One Students, 2018/2019 Academic Session go on smoothly, the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Ahmad Bashawir Haji Abdul Ghani inspected the final preparation carried out around the Campus yesterday.
Prof. Dr. Ahmad Bashawir Haji Abdul Ghani who was accompanied by senior officers of the University, first visited the Mu'adzam Shah Hall to witness the preparation and rehearsal for the Parent and Guardian Briefing Session in conjunction with the Orientation Week.
He then proceeded to visit the Petronas and MAS Students Residential Halls (INASIS) to assess the preparation done to welcome the new students including the facilities made available at the INASIS.
He expressed his appreciation and gratitude to all those who had given their high commitments in ensuring that the registration process of new students go on smoothly.
Meanwhile, the three Deputy Vice-Chancellors also visited the other student residential halls which will be the venue for the registration of new students.
More than 4,000 students are expected to register for Semester One, 2018/2019 Academic Session.
