Statistics The Master of Science (Statistics) by research and Doctor of Philosophy (Statistics) produce graduates who can work independently, skilled, competent, creative and innovative, with in-depth knowledge in their related areas of research and are able to contribute to the body of knowledge in statistics and interdisciplinary study. Meanwhile, MSc. Data Analysis aims is to produce graduates who master data analytical skills and are able to create knowledge from data, and solve real-life problems in multidisciplinary fields. This unique programme implements a holistic approach to data analysis by including both qualitative and quantitative aspects plus a variety of methods through a hands-on approach. This programme will produce data analyst who is capable of analysing a diversity of data (qualitative: text, narrative & visual; and quantitative: numerical) that is very much needed in the industries specifically in research and development (R&D).
