At
the undergraduate level, UUM has collaborative programmes with
three private colleges i.e. IKRAM College, Selangor, Institute
of Pujangga, Selangor and the Melaka Foundation College, offering
the BBA with Honours Programme.
At the post-graduate level, the MBA programme is offered in Sungai
Petani and in cooperation with IKIP Pahang in Kuantan and Subang
Jaya. The MSc (IT) Programme is offered on a distance learning
mode in cooperation with the New Horizons Computer Learning Centre
in Bandar Sunway. UUM has also made inroads in the east coast
offering MBA, MBA (Accounting) and MSc (Ed. Mgt) in Kota Bharu.
A special programme - MSc (Management) - for government officers
is offered in Kuala Lumpur in collaboration with INTAN. UUM hopes
these measures will make higher education more accessible and
available to a broader spectrum of the populace.
In early 2000, UUM ventured outside Malaysia for the first time,
by signing a MoU with the National Institute of Management in
Phnom Penh, Cambodia. The MBA programme is offered here with an
initial intake of 79 Cambodian students.
UUM is also working closing with the Ministry of Education to
venture into Medan, Indonesia and Bangkok for the MBA programme,
as well as with the Asian Institute of Management, Manila.
