The Security Department of University Utara Malaysia is directly responsible to the Vice Chansellor in managing and administrating all matters pertaining to the security of the campus. Its primary responsibility is to ensure the safety and serenity of the campus as a conducive learning centre.

With the support and cooperation of campus community, as well as some departments / agencies and individuals outside the campus, our efforts all these years were made very much easier.
