Malaysian laws are not violated.

2.0
Consultancy services
2.1 The
university’s main responsibility is teaching and
research. However, consultancy services have
emerged to become an important activity in
universities, not only for universities in developed
countries but also in developing countries. From
the beginning, UUM has encouraged its academic staff
to be involved in this area of consultancy. The UUM
area of Research and Consultancy was established as
a machinery to achieve the university’s objective in
improving consultancy.
2.2 Through
consultancy, the university hopes to strengthen ties
with foreign agencies and provide a channel, where
facilities and specialized services can be provided
to the public on a large scale. Consultancy will
also give an opportunity for staff to
achieve
consultancy experience, handle courses and related
experiences.
