LOCAL
INTERNATIONAL

GENERAL ENTRY REQUIREMENT (LOCAL)

STPM

  • Obtained Malaysian Certificate of Education (SPM) with a credit in the Bahasa Malaysia/Malay language subject and a pass in the History subject from 2013. Credit in the Bahasa Malaysia/Malay Language July paper is taken into account; AND
  • Passed the Malaysian Higher School Certificate Examination (STPM) with a CGPA of at least 2.00 and Grade C in 3 subjects including General Studies; AND
  • Obtained at least Band 1.0 in the Malaysian University English Test (MUET) for exams starting Session 1 of 2021 or Band 1 for exams taken in 2020 according to the validity period on the date of application

FOUNDATION/KPM MATRICULATION (NON-FEEDER)

  • Obtained a Malaysian Certificate of Education (SPM) with a credit in the Bahasa Malaysia/Malay language subject and a pass in the History subject beginning 2013.
  • A credit in Bahasa Malaysia /Malay Language July paper is taken into account; AND
  • Passed KPM/ UM Foundation in Science/ UKM Foundation/UiTM Foundation with at least a CGPA of 2.00; AND
  • Obtained at least Band 1.0 in the Malaysian University English Test (MUET) for exams starting Session 1 of 2021 or Band 1 for exams taken in 2020 subject to the validity period on the date of application.

STAM

  • Obtained a Malaysian Certificate of Education (SPM) with a credit in Bahasa Malaysia/Malay language and pass in History from 2013.
  • A credit in Bahasa Malaysia/Malay Language July paper is taken into account; AND
  • Obtained at least Jayyid Grade in the Malaysian Higher Religious Certificate Examination (STAM); AND
  • Obtained at least Band 1.0 in the Malaysian University English Test (MUET) for exams starting Session 1 of 2021 or Band 1 for exams taken in 2020 subject to the validity period on the date of application.

POLYTECHNIC/PUBLIC UNIVERSITY/PRIVATE UNIVERSITY/ VOCATIONAL MALAYSIA DIPLOMA

  • Obtained a Malaysian Certificate of Education (SPM) with a credit in Bahasa Malaysia/ Bahasa Melayu and a pass in History beginning 2013.
  • A credit in Bahasa Malaysia/ Bahasa Melayu July papers are taken into account AND
  • Obtained a Pubic University /Polytechnic/Private Higher Learning institution Diploma or other qualifications recognised as equivalent by the Malaysian Government and approved by the University Senate OR
  • Obtained a Malaysian Vocational Diploma (DVM) recognised as equivalent by the Malaysian Government and approved by the University Senate AND
  • Obtained at least Band 1.0 in the Malaysian University English Test (MUET) for exams starting Session 1 of 2021 or Band 1 for exams taken in 2020 subject to the validity period on the date of application AND
  • Accredited by MQA and recorded in MQR.

GENERAL ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS - ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS FOR EDUCATION PROGRAMME APPLICATION FOR SERVICE WITH THE MALAYSIAN MINISTRY OF EDUCATION

  1. Open to citizens only.
  2. The applicant must be less than 30 years old when submitting the application.
  3. Pass Mathematics in the Malaysian Certificate of Education exam (SPM) or equivalent.
  4. Applicants must be healthy, not suffering from any mental or physical illness, and able to follow the programmes designed for this course.
