            2.7  ANALYTICAL THINKING



            DEFINITION

            Effective at utilise abundance of knowledge and identifying the most
            important issues or patterns. Utilises multiple sources to generate
            conclusions (technical and non-technical). Able to see and grasp the big
            picture by seeing the greater significant.
            BEHAVIORAL INDICATORS

            •   Recognises discrepancies, trends and patterns in the work field.

            •   Identifies issues not obvious to others.

            •   Analyse the ‘big picture’ or what is generally happening in the work
                field to develop action plan(s).

            •   Detects connections and underlying patterns across multiple sources
                of information.

            •   Draws inferences from observations.
